Cancelation Policies - Events & Reservations

Tentaroo Cancelation Policy – Facility Reservations 

For individual campsite or facility reservation cancelations received 60 days or more before your start date, you will be eligible for a full credit to be posted to your Tentaroo Account.  No cash refunds will be issued.  

For half-camp or full camp reservations cancellations requested 120 days or more before your start date, may be eligible for a full credit posted to your Tentaroo Account.  No cash refunds will be issued.  

Tentaroo Cancelation Policy – Events & Summer Camps

For Summer Camp refund policies, please refer to current Leader's Guides.    Some Council Events such as Training courses or Activities may have more specific guidelines, please refer to those webpages for cancellation policies.   As a general rule, cash refunds will not be made available unless Monmouth Council BSA cancels the event or activity. 

All requests to cancel your reservation must be made online by the dates indicated when logged into your account. No shows or cancelation on the day of the event are not eligible for a refund or transfer to another event.

If your scout event/camp is canceled by Monmouth Council for any reason, you will get the option of transferring the fee to another event. All transfers must be requested within 30 days of the start of the cancelled event, otherwise all payments are considered a donation to Monmouth Council BSA. 

Please note that bad weather does not mean automatic cancellation. We’ll notify you as soon as possible if your event is canceled by us (Monmouth Council BSA)

Tip: Last minute weather changes or not having BSA mandated qualified adult leadership are not examples of extenuating circumstances where we would consider an online credit after the above deadlines.
