Wood Badge
What is Wood Badge?
Wood Badge is Scouting’s premier adult leader training program. This course has had many improvements over time since it was introduced back in 1919. Wood Badge is much like any modern corporate leadership course but it does not cost $3000, it is outdoors, and it is fun.
This course is open to all Scouters (Adult Volunteers & Scouting Professionals) and is a 5-day (two-weekend course) that is held at Quail Hill Scout Reservation
There is no better time to attend a Wood Badge course and make a difference in your unit as a Unit Leader!.
Monmouth Council is partnering with Patriots Path Council who is hosting a joint-Council Wood Badge course this Fall at Winnebago S.R. and Mt. Allamuchy S.R.
Wood Badge ST13-358-23 is designed to meet the advanced leadership needs of all Scouters, particularly unit level Scouters, such as Cub leaders, Scoutmasters and assistants, Venturing Crew Advisors, Committee Chairs and members. Additionally, Scouters serving at the district and council levels can achieve greater effectiveness through Wood Badge.
Where: ST13-358-23 will be held on two weekends. You must attend both weekends in their entirety to complete the training.
